Remote Sensing Consultant

We own and operate an airborne sensor suite consisting of survey grade and hyperspectral cameras; this is supported by a range of highly specialised ground based sensors. We process, integrate and analyse this data with a range of other imaging and non-imaging sources to deliver solutions.

You will play a central role in driving the definition, development and delivery of commercial products. This is an outward facing role which involves all phases of the project lifecycle; the assessment of market sectors, engagement with potential clients, building the value proposition, specification of products, product marketing and sales. In this way, you will strongly influence the direction and growth of the team working in a dynamic and rapidly evolving start-up environment.

2Excel geo are unique in our ability to rapidly collect and process high quality hyperspectral imagery. This generates unique commercial and technical propositions, particularly when integrated with other Remote Sensing datasets such as LiDAR, optical and synthetic aperture radar satellite data.

Your focus will be on matching market needs with commercially viable technical solutions. You will have a track record of successful delivery in the Remote Sensing industry with a strong technical grounding in multiple modalities. You will understand the industrial competitive landscape and available sources of funding. You will have a deep understanding of multiple application domains with an extensive and current professional network. You will possess up to date knowledge of sensing technologies, geospatial data processing and machine learning with an appreciation of future trends. You will be comfortable with creating and managing customer relationships and delivering at pace.
